Description: 15hh, 4 year old, gelding, dark bay, HW Irish cob. Elton is a yard favourite! He Has a wonderful temperament and he’s always 1st to the field gate to investigate what’s going on. He has been backed slowly over the summer and has taken it all in his stride. We do not have an arena at home, so from day one, we started to get him out and about to in-hand clinics and long-reining which lead on to hacking/ridden clinics and lessons. He has done an intro dressage and has just started jumping under saddle. He has seen quite a bit of the world, but he is still very green. He will be a wonderful family/riding club horse with time and experience. He is 100% in traffic, to travel, clip and trim. Lives in or out. He really is easy to handle. In time, he will be anyone’s ride, but due to his age, he would not be suitable for a novice. Hard sale due to lack of facilities and he will only go to the right home who will continue to further his education sympathetically. Based between York and Easingwold.
