I bought Betty from Ireland a few of months ago to produce whilst my other horse was out of action.
She is a full up 17.2/3hh ISH (3/4 ID 1/4 TB) 2017 mare by Sire ‘Snipe’. Dam is RID by Holycross.
Betty has 3 beautiful paces on the flat and a lovely neat jump. Due to being left to mature and grow, Betty is still green but is willing to learn. Being a typical mare she can throw the small occasional buck in, so is not suitable for a novice. In trot, she can tend to tense up and throw her head around in the first couple of laps in the arena however she soon settles down and works beautifully.
Betty loves attention and company, whether it’s from humans or animals, she thrives off being cuddled and loved. She would make a true family horse, she’s great with my 3 year old Nephew.
Betty is good to shoe, load, travel. She hasn’t been clipped with me, but i can’t see it being a problem at all.
Betty has restarted her vaccinations when she came to me, she has had the first 2 done.
Betty passed 2 vet checks 2 months ago before coming over to me.
She does have windgalls and a bilateral capped hock which do not effect her in any way.
Betty is really easy going, a true gentle giant and will go far in the right hands.
5* home is a must for this beautiful girl!
