- SIMBA Impossible to find 2011 Chesnut Selle Francis gelding standing at 17.2hh, this beautiful big boy has class breeding, oozes quality yet still remains a safe, straightforward and confidence giving ride. Simba is very much a been there and done it type, but he will now go on and do anyone’s job. He has experience BE, showjumping, dressage, hunter trials, and hunting, he’s done loads of pleasure rides, beach rides etc, he isn’t green, spooky or sharp in anyway, a super experienced horse who would happily show someone the ropes; he will jump off any stride and isn’t bothered if you do it get it wrong, jumps up to 120 with ease but he’s equally happy to take someone round 70cm for a confidence giving round. Simba is a leg on ride, schooled to perfection with all lateral work established however he is so safe and easy. He has previously hunted, fantastic with hounds and what a stamp to have on the hunt field! Simba is an absolute sweetheart to hack, alone and in company, super in open spaces and he isn’t bothered by farm machinery, busy roads or heavy traffic, he has the most balanced, comfortable canter that makes you want to sit on him all day. He’s a darling in the stable, despite his size he’s like a pony! Loves a cuddle and adores people, he isn’t a busy or stressy type and is easy to have around, this lovely horse has no hang ups or vices, loads and travels beautifully in a trailer or a lorry, good in every way, no annoying habits or issues, just a super lovely horse who would compete tomorrow or reach a nervous jockey the ropes, he is anyone’s ride.
