- Stunning middleweight hunter/jumper/ all rounder Full up 16hh-16.1hh Cob X Clyde. Lovely paces with fantastic canter and honest, scopey jump. James is on the laid back side but has all the ability once you get the motor running. Happily jumping 90cm courses now with scope for more. Loves cross country and natural fences. Amazing over hedges at hunt clinic. Been in amateur home last 3 1/2 yrs and bought on slowly. Competed all disciplines upto 90cm show jump and xc and lightly hunted (very well mannered with other horses and hounds) plus riding club camps and fun rides. Fantastic to hack alone and in company and in open spaces. Great in traffic but can be spooky at a bag in a hedge, etc. Nothing nasty just stops and stares and needs positive riding to show him its ok! Ideal home for James would be one that hunts in winter and riding club/fun rides in summer. he would also love team chasing. Not for novice or nervous rider, James likes to feel the rider is in charge and thrives with someone who will do that. Lovely to handle and very affectionate. Good to catch, box, shoe and clip. Does have small sarcoid near elbow that doesn't cause any issues plus very mild sweet itch totally controlled by lotion and sweet itch rugs provided in sale.
