- BEN Striking 16.1hh 2016 ROR thoroughbred bay gelding. Ben is a lovely stamp and is quite substantial for his breed, he is a calm, quiet and easy going temperament. He offers lovely expressive paces on the flat and is easy to ride, snaffle mouthed and a lovely willing attitude towards work, super dressage or showing prospect, he’s bold in new environments so I have no doubt he will go out and do any job. Ben is flashy, classy and moves well. Scopey over a fence, unbothered by colour or height, and bold over rustic fences too, confidence giving jumping and offers a great shape, again – this lad would go out and do a jumping job. Ben will happily hack out in company and solo, unbothered by traffic and sensible out and about, he’s a kind chap in the box and very easy to have in the yard, vice free.
