Poppy rewards a confident, go-for-it rider — give her clear direction and she will give you everything back she is very loving and loyal. She is forward, responsive and talented, and will absolutely shine with an established child or small teen who is ready to step up and have fun. If your child is bold, independent and ready for a pony that matches their ambition, Poppy will be the making of them. She was a first pony at previous homes for a gutsy child — doing SJ, games, beach rides and everything in between. She has the experience and ability to bring a talented child all the way through their PC career and beyond. We have to be honest — I have tonnes of videos but they don't do her justice but show her in a variety of situations as my daughter was a nervous novice and Poppy stepped down for her. I do have videos of other riders jumping her properly. We bought her as more of a first pony but i think probably frustrating for Poppy who enjoys doing more fun things than trotting round in circles and she can be quite forward. Her history speaks for itself and we are happy to provide references from qualified PC professionals who know her well and have ridden her. She is genuinely safe — never bucked, reared, bolted, bitten, barged or done anything nasty. Snaffle mouthed with excellent brakes. Hacks alone and in company. Loads easily and can be fully tacked up and handled by children. Doesn't fizz up after time off. Never had lami or sweet itch. Fully up to date with everything. She has opinions and will test a timid rider — but for a confident child she is forgiving, fun and has enormous scope. We just want her matched with a rider who will truly appreciate her hence selling as more of a second pony.
