Description
Beautiful inside and out: 128cm (JMB LHC) WELSH Sec B Gelding. From the Stockham bloodline. Rising 17yrs. Schooled on the flat weekly by Somerset BD coach. Previously competed Prelim - Elementary level with a 12yr old girl. Wonderful sweet nature, box, shoe clip etc. Great to hack and safe in open spaces. Fab with other horses, no stable vices. Has done PC activities, including PC camp with a tall 9yr old and has also been ridden at home and hacked by a novice 6yr old. Could do a lead rein showing job, but off the lead rein, in competition he is more forward, so not a novice ride. Jumping he previously had an impressive BS record to 1.05m and Eventing record, however his last two homes have not been able to find the same scope or consistently with his jumping. He is naturally quick against the clock so has won many unaffiliated SJ competitions. He recently produced two DC’s BS stepping stones qualifiers with an experienced BS child and schooled over 1m fences, but we feel he would be better suited to a more varied home. He is fit and ready to enjoy the summer. He had a successful cautionary back procedure in 2024 and has some melanomas which have remained unchanged in the last nearly 2 yrs of ownership, this has been reflected in his asking price and he is open to any further vetting.
