Description: Spirit is a very tidily put-together welsh p.b gelding. We have owned him for the past eight years. He is offered for sale solely because my daughter and subsequent loaners have outgrown him and we are struggling to find the time to give him the exercise and the attention he deserves and enjoys. He has a lovely temperament, enjoys attention and interaction with owners and is the pony equivalent of a Labrador. Really willing and tries his best at all times. Reliable in open spaces and confident in traffic he hacks sensibly alone or with others. Works in a nice natural outline, regularly scores 72-75% + at intro and prelim dressage, ready to step up to novice with right rider. Won the National NSEA intro winter dressage league in 2025 and 7th in Prelim. In a snaffle for everything. Jumps 60-70 courses confidently and correctly and definitely has more scope, just his previous riders have been more dressage oriented. Spirit was started late at 8, and has always been worked in a good routine with regular bodywork and never ragged and jumped every weekend and so is easily lower mileage at 16 than many 9/10-year-olds! He is a genuine all-round fun pony. Definitely a second pony, we have had more novice riders on him, and he is really good with them but would be better with a more competent rider on an everyday basis. Barefoot with scoot hoof boots for hacking. He does have a minor medical issue that is easy to manage, to be discussed with any interested parties.. More Videos available on request.
