A very hard ad to write for a much-loved black 14.1hh, 11-year-old, registered Welsh D.
Sadly, it has come to the time that I need to start finding Grace a new home. Through absolutely no fault of her own, I just can’t keep them all, and Grace has started to become wasted with me.
Grace has been there and done it.
She’s evented (GOBE),
done hunting, fun rides, and showjumping.
Her dressage was improving all the time.
Showjumping – this is where Gracie’s heart lies!
She absolutely loves it. She will jump off any stride, is very forgiving, and has always saved my bacon in the ring when I have either buried her into jumps or asked for a stupidly long stride! 😬
She could certainly be a cracking BS pony for a young rider.
She is very rarely out of the top 10 placings.
She qualified for a Hartpury Championship last year and jumped double clear.
Cross country – she is very brave. She has taken people who have never been round an XC course before and given them so much confidence.
She’s also been hunting and didn’t bat an eyelid, flying over all types of walls, hedges, and rails.
It was my first year hunting and she gave me so much confidence.
She’s not strong in open spaces or when jumping. She listens to the voice extremely well—just ask her to stop and the brakes come on. Although she isn’t strong, she is forward-going.
She’s been ridden and jumped tackless, proving just how good she is with voice commands. She likes her rider to chat to her.
She’s an extremely fun pony and would be a lovely mother-daughter share or a pony for a teenager to go and have some fun on.
She really is one in a million and will, without a doubt, be someone’s horse of a lifetime. She knows her job and just wants to get on with it.
She likes to grow a bond with people. You have to earn her trust, but once you do she’s an absolute dream and will do everything you ask of her.
If I asked her to jump the moon, she would, without a doubt, try!
She really does bond with her person.
I have put a lot of work into her and would love to see someone else having the same amount of enjoyment she’s given me.
Her full history is known—she’s only ever had two owners. I bought her from her breeder.
Happy to discuss all her past details with anyone interested in viewing her.
No vices, no lumps or bumps, and no medical history.
Happy to send her full medical history to any potential viewers.
Based in Bridgwater, Somerset.
Her only downside is-
Grace isn’t a fan of rear loading trailers she loads into lorries or side-loaders with no issues.
We have an Equi-Trek trailer and she is perfectly fine in it, but due to not having a rear loading trailer I haven’t been able to work on this.
