Description: Frankie is a smart, sporty looking 14.3hh/15hh cob gelding with a kind temperament and a fantastic attitude to life. He is a genuine young horse with an old head on young shoulders who has been produced slowly and is now ready for someone to continue his education. Frankie is very much more woah than go, giving a safe and confidence-giving ride. Due to his age he has only done light schooling, so he is still green in the arena.Not a sharp or strong ride; can be slow off the leg while gaining confidence and experience. However he has had plenty of real life experience including: • Arena hire/ cross country schooling • Hacking in open spaces •An unaffiliated show •Hunting Frankie is brave and level headed and happy to give anything a go. He is fantastic in open spaces – you can canter him across a field on the buckle and feel completely safe. Even my non-horsey boyfriend has happily hacked him out with me! On the ground Frankie is a pleasure to have around. He is: • Good to catch, lead and handle • Easy to tack up • Loves grooming and fuss • Loads first time on trailer and lorry • Travels well • Good for the farrier and vet • Has been clipped and stood perfectly •Hacks alone and in company He is used to a busy yard environment including cows, sheep, dogs, donkeys, tractors and general machinery and is unfazed by it all — even an alpaca 🦙! Frankie is a genuine young cob with masses of potential who will go on to make a fantastic all-rounder, mother/daughter share ,hunting cob or happy hacker.
