Description: Heathercombe Harbour Light. Beautifully bred horse, sire; Newtown Pedro & dam Heathercombe Silver Ribbon. Bought this horse in spring 2021 as 2 y/o and backed / produced just after his 3rd birthday in autumn 2021 by myself (non professional, & not the bravest) he was so easy and ready to learn. He takes a soft contact with a natural uphill carriage. Goes lovely on the flat with a nice step. Jumps 70cm, been out to shows and clinics and very well behaved, easy to do my myself (small lady rider) Jumps beautifully cross country, done plenty of fun rides and loves to gallop In open fields, safe and extremely comfortable could sit on him all day / would easily hunt and enjoy this. Travels quietly and alone/company. Hacks alone and company, good with traffic. Easy to clip etc. Never bucked, bolted or reared. Has been used for teens with disabilities as therapy horse too & passed vetting for riding school horse. So would be suitable for competent novice, Or novice in experienced yard / home. Straight forward young horse for someone put their own stamp on him. easy horse to keep / lives in/out, behaves the same if ridden daily or not touched for months. Currently barefoot also had fronts on (can go either). Lack time forces sale and so sad that the only horse to enjoy dressage I’ve owned I can’t pursue my dreams but would love to follow his progress. Asking higher end of 4 figs. Open offers to find best suited home where I can keep in contact if possible. We are on the welsh / English border (10 min from Monmouth or 10 mins Abergavenny) South Wales.
