KWPN mare for sale. She has just turned 20 but is no where near ready to retire! I have owned her for 5 years and only ever hacked. She hacks alone and in company, first or last but prefers to be first. The last year has only hacked alone. She is forward going and absolutely not for a novice. She always has brakes alone or in a group. She needs a calm and confident rider. She thrives in a routine and I have had a professional rider hacking her since January due to my working hours but I do not have time to keep her in regular work and I don’t want her wasted. She is good to load, with dentist and farrier and is first to the gate to catch. She is out with mares and geldings and lives out 24/7 however is not a good doer and needs rugging and extra feed/ad lib hay in the winter if kept out. She is good with traffic but can be worried about large HGVs/buses. I have a lot of off road hacking so she hasn’t had to get used to them with me. She is top mare in the field and can be needy. Cannot be last in. She is a strong, fit, large mare and needs a confident rider. Her moves are stunning and when she is trotting people stop to watch! She was a carriage horse in the Netherlands before she came to England. Come with fitted saddle, bridle and some rugs.
