Description: Eagleridge Main Event (GB) 3yr old Sports Horse gelding; genuine quality showing/eventing prospect. Currently standing 15.1 to make 15.2, dk bay (no white), SHB(GB) passport. Well handled (including by a novice at home), good with farrier, good to load and travel in both trailer and lorry, happy to live in or out and has stayed home alone for the day with no issues. Sensible, trainable temperament. Not phased by other livestock (inc pigs) or farm machinery, and totally unbothered by crowds, flapping tents etc at shows. Lightly and successfully shown as a foal, yearling and 3yr old (a quiet 2yr old season due to other commitments and through no fault of his own) in Sport Horse breeding classes, always placed and often going Champion. Despite this, he’s not been over-produced and has always been a healthy weight, even winning Healthiest Body Condition at his latest outing at South of England Show. He’s now physically and mentally ready to take the next step forward in his career. Born here at our small private stud in East Sussex, along with his 2yr old and yearling full brothers. Breeding; Dam: GAISHA GIRL (GB) Sport Horse (Tb 50%, BWBS 50%). OTTERGAYLE breeding, 15.3, dam is full sister to LILLYKAI (dam of KELLYTHORPES ADDICTION). Dam sire: TRENAWIN LANAKAI (multi champion small hunter/sports pony stallion, and sire of champion stock in all disciplines). Sire: VINCENT IV KWPN (42.19% blood. SHB(GB) graded) ELCARO/SAMBER breeding, 158cm, successful in hand & ridden career in dressage and showing, winning CHAPS loose jumping championship. sire of talented, versatile stock with kind temperaments and trainable attitude, including HOYS finalist VOLATIS DIVA and 2019 Elite Event Foal finalist FUTURE GUILTY LIAISON. In order not to waste anyone’s time, we are looking for low to mid 5 figures for Eric, and we’d prefer to have a conversation with interested parties before sharing pictures and videos. We’d like him to go to an experienced, preferably competitive, home and we’d also very much like to keep in touch with his new owners.
