Description: The Come Back Dude Reluctant Sale - 11yo 17hh Chestnut Thoroughbred Gelding Sadly offering my lovely boy for sale as he's simply too much horse for me. He's a striking 11-year-old, 17hh chestnut Thoroughbred gelding with heaps of potential. He would thrive in a confident home--ideally with a teenager or young adult looking to take on eventing, cross country, or hunting. No novices please. He has previously Team chased, is ROR eligible and also has BD points from previous owner. This is a genuine and heartfelt sale. He deserves a home where he can shine. He is exceptional in stable, for farrier/ vets (recently had teeth and jabs) and loading/ travel. We have not clipped him. He really is the sweetest, he has gentleman manners and will stand on the yard for hours, not fussed about others going in or out. He is turned out with other geldings and isn’t bothered by them at all. He will happily stay in the field alone with other horses nearby. He is easy to catch and will just plod behind you. In the stable he is not bothered with you fussing him whilst he is eating, in fact he is one of the cleanest horses I know! With just a wee spot and a poo spot! He is flexible with routine and happy to stay out 24/7 or in at night, out during the day. This gentle giant is a really lovely boy and it is a tough decision but in all honestly I have owned Welsh sec D’s for over 20 years and not ridden properly in around 7 years and I have over horsed myself. He is totally wasted with me and if I’m honest, my confidence isn’t what it used to be. £2200 but open to offers.
