Description: 16.1hh sports horse gelding, 11 years old. Amateurs dressage, fun rides, camps, clinics, riding club. Fergal is the most loving horse with labrador personality, looking for a family home to continue what he enjoys. Qualified BD area festivals at Prelim and Novice, unaffiliated Elementary. He is correct, accurate and responsive. Jumps 90cm all day at home, arena hires, clinics etc but he does not enjoy competing jumping. Hacks out alone and in company, he goes on the buckle even in open spaces, always snaffle mouthed. Good to do in all ways. Fergal can be spooky and needs a rider to be in control, he is not a novice ride but will teach you to ride properly! He is never dangerous, just requires someone to have a sense of humour with him. We have owned Fergal since a 2 year old, this is a heartbreaking decision however due to work commitments I do not have time to give him the attention he really deserves. Fergal was diagnosed with mild kissing spine in 2020 after showing minor symptoms, and was operated on successfully. He has been correctly rehabilitated and has never had an issue since. We have multiple physio reports to support this. Fergal was diagnosed with a sidebone in his left fore last year, we were advised to go barefoot and again haven't an issue since. This is greatly reflected in his price, homes will be vetted.
