Description: 14.3/15hh | 9-year-old Connemara gelding by the highly regarded, traditional Connemara pony stallion Gloves Bobby. Baloo is a very special little horse who is now looking for his next family. He has been in the same home since he was 3 years old, so his full history is known. He is a fun, forward going and incredibly genuine gelding who absolutely loves his work. He has been ridden, produced and thoroughly enjoyed by mum over the years, but sadly, due to changing family commitments, the time has come for him to find a new home where he can continue having fun and showing off his many talents. Baloo has enjoyed a wonderfully varied life, including: * Hacking across open fields * Show jumping * Clinics and training * Camps * Riding club-style activities * Plenty of fun and varied schooling Jumping is his forte! Baloo absolutely loves to jump. He is keen careful and genuine, and will happily go on a less-than-perfect stride while looking after his rider. He has successfully jumped plenty of 70/80 tracks and has the scope and ability to progress further. He is currently training over 90cm+ and is confident over water, ditches, steps and other natural obstacles. His flatwork is good and continually improving. He is forward and responsive without being silly, and always tries his hardest to please. He is a fantastic hack and is happy alone or in company. He will happily go first or last, is good in traffic and open spaces, and although forward-going, he is sensible and rideable. Baloo is exceptionally well behaved on the ground and is good to catch, load and travel. He has a genuinely kind, uncomplicated temperament and is a lovely horse to have around. He has been a much-loved member of the family for many years, making this a very sad sale. He would suit a competent teenager or small adult looking for a talented, fun all-rounder. He would make a fantastic grassroots, riding club or competitive prospect, but equally would be very happy in a home where he can enjoy a varied and active life. He is not suitable for nervous or novice riders, as he is a forward-going chap who needs a confident and competent jockey. We would absolutely love to see Baloo go to a home where his abilities can be enjoyed, whether that means getting out competing, attending camps and clinics, or simply having lots of fun together at home. 5* homes only.
