Description: Very sad sale of our much loved Shetland pony. Roly Poly has been with us for 5 years and has been completely home produced by my son since he was 3, now 8. A child’s pony created by a child Ernie can do everything with her from picking out her feet to loading her on the trailer. She is fab on the lead rein and we think she would do brilliantly in the show ring being well put together and with lovely markings. With us she has done PC rallies, Gymkhana and show jumping shows as well as beach rides, forest rides and lots of hacking both on and off the lead rein. Off lead she is safe but cheeky - as most Shetland are! She loves a good canter and will hack all day - she also enjoys jumping and is very brave. We have kept her all this time with the intention of taking her in the Shetland Grand national which we feel she will be fantastic at! However with another 2 years until Ernie is old enough to do it we’ve realised there is a strong possibility that he’s going to be too tall! We have no real job for her in the meantime and she therefore isn’t getting the time and attention that’s she deserves. We have therefore decided to look at finding her a new little person who will adore her the way every little pony deserves to be adored!
