Description: 🌟 Star – 9yo 15.2hh Mare by Golden Horn (TB) 🌟 A really exciting opportunity to produce a quality, well-bred mare with all the raw ingredients to go on in any sphere. Star is a 9-year-old by the outstanding sire Golden Horn, retired sound from racing in February and now ready for her next career. She has been with us just over 6 weeks and has taken to retraining incredibly well – she is a quick learner with a genuine, willing attitude and enjoys her work. She is forward going and responsive, so would suit a confident amateur or someone looking for a fun, rewarding project to produce. Star is a brave, genuine mare who is not spooky or silly. She hacks out and is good in traffic, travels well in both trailer and lorry, and is good to handle on the ground (farrier, vet, dentist). She is up to date with vaccinations, teeth and worming. She can be strong out and about at times, so is not a novice ride, but she is straightforward in her nature and gives a safe, honest feel. She did crib bite while in racing, however since being with us, with regular turnout and a varied routine, this has significantly reduced. With her attitude, breeding and trainability, Star has the potential to excel in a variety of disciplines including eventing, hunting or as a competitive allrounder. I A genuine sale due to owner needing to reduce numbers. A good home is important, but she is a quality mare and is priced accordingly.
