Description: For Sale: Rockefeller (Teddy) – 13.1hh British Riding Pony We are sad to offer for sale Rockefeller (Teddy), our much-loved 13.1hh British Riding Pony. At 12 years old, Teddy is a kind, gentle, and willing pony with a heart of gold. He has been an integral part of his current riding school, where he has excelled in a variety of disciplines, particularly in jumping. Teddy thrives with a confident rider and takes much of his confidence from his handler. He is best suited to a keen, experienced rider who can bring out the best in him. Key Attributes: Temperament: Teddy is exceptionally kind and patient, making him a joy to handle on the ground. He is good with children and is often handled by them. He enjoys being groomed and will happily stand for hours. Ground Manners: Excellent with the farrier, easy to clip, and good to catch from the field. Teddy picks up all four feet with ease. Riding Ability: While Teddy has participated in Pony Club activities and is well-rounded in many areas, his true passion lies in jumping, where he excels and truly enjoys the work. Suitability: He would be ideal for a confident and experienced rider who is ready to provide him with the right guidance, Teddy has put the occasional buck in when he’s excited but nothing nasty, He is a real partner for someone looking to progress their riding, especially in jumping. Important Notes: This sale is a very difficult decision for us, as Teddy has been a much-loved member of our family. Unfortunately, he is now outgrown by his current rider, and we must find him a new home to continue his journey. We are looking for a forever home for Teddy and would love to stay in touch with his new owner. Should circumstances ever arise where Teddy needs to be rehomed again in the future, we would like to have the first refusal.
