Description: 13.2hh | 12-year-old | Bay Welsh Section B Gelding Jester is a genuine, competition-minded pony who lives for show jumping. Bought as a BS starter pony for our daughter, he has shown us that he thrives with regular, focused work and would suit a home wanting to be out competing consistently. With previous owners, Jester jumped British Showjumping up to Novice and Discovery, gaining a solid and reliable record. He has proven his versatility by stepping down comfortably, already qualified for Hartpury 2026, and is very much sit-and-steer at lower heights, making him ideal for a rider wanting a confidence-giving pony to progress with. With us, he has continued his education through: • Unaffiliated showjumping • Riding Club & Pony Club showjumping • Prelim dressage (used as flatwork support for jumping) He is quick and careful, with a naturally competitive attitude, and is at his best when he has a job to do. ✔ Easy to catch ✔ Good to shoe, load, clip ✔ Up to date with vaccinations, dentist and farrier Loves hacking and goes alone or in company . Brilliant in traffic. Gets on with all other horses and lives with our other gelding but previously lived alone without issues. Not suitable for a novice rider. Jester is a clever, sharp Welsh pony and requires a confident, balanced rider with an established seat to get the best from him. On the ground, he is kind and genuine, loves a groom (often falls asleep!) and is very typical of the intelligent Welsh breed. He passed a 5-stage vetting when purchased a year ago (report available).
