Description: Fou is a lovely 10 year old Irish thoroughbred who through no fault of his own is looking for a new home. He has been fantastically retrained and has been known to hunt, compete in cross country and also turn his hand to jumping above 70cm. Fou has been a hacking horse for the last year to help regain my rider confidence and I couldn’t have asked for a better horse. He is an incredibly gentle, forgiving and sensible boy with an old head on young shoulders. He is steady in all traffic, will hack alone or in company and is excellent to canter through an open field at a steady pace. Fou will let anyone ride him whether young or inexperienced or a top rider and perfectly adapts to every situation given to him. Fou has excellent ground manners in shoeing, grooming, loading and general handling. He is up to date with being shod, has his teeth cleaned every 6 months along with sheath cleaning, all of which whoever handles him compliments on his ground manners and steadiness. Fou has a clean bill of health and is an excellent all round horse for a young rider wanting to further progress with their skills, equally would be a wonderful mother-daughter share. 5* home is essential as Fou is a one of a kind horse who won’t come around often!
