Description: 13hh 6yo Ride & Drive Cob Gelding – Cracker Based in Surrey Cracker truly is one in a million – a kind, loving and understanding boy who’s as versatile as he is reliable. He’s snaffle-mouthed for hacking and general riding, with a Pelham used for schooling to help with clearer cues. He’s as bombproof as you can get even in heavy traffic and takes everything in his stride. Never strong or silly, he’s brilliant with young children, dogs, chickens, donkeys, sheep, cows and other horses – no kicking, biting, rearing or bucking. Happy to go out alone or in company, a small squeeze is all it takes to get him moving. Currently shod all round for regular road work, he’s excellent to clip, shoe, bath and load. As a driving pony he’s fantastic – young children have driven him confidently everywhere, standing patiently while harness and cart are fitted and waiting quietly until asked to move. We focused on driving all summer, then shifted to riding over winter – he’s equally capable in both disciplines and has real potential in the show ring, or would be the perfect all-round family pony for every activity. This is a very hard sale, but he doesn’t enjoy being a field ornament and needs a home where he can be active with all-day hacks or regular work something I can no longer provide. No vices or health issues, open to full vet checks and viewings are very welcome.
