Description: Very sad sale of our wonderful Spotty Dotty to a first class home only. Dotty is a very experienced competition pony, but safe enough to be a first off the lead rein, or lead rein pony. Dotty does everything - pony club, eventing, showjumping, hunting and safe to hack on or off lead rein. He is steady and has never thought of running off with his jockey, but also isn’t a kick along, he will respond to small riders with little legs. In the past, and with my older daughter, he has extensive BS record here and in Ireland, with over £800 winnings. He will step up and do a fast jump off, and brought home many red rosettes for us in SJ, which was my daughter’s main passion. His comfort level is up to 70cm now he is an older chap. My younger daughter is less keen on jumping and he’s had an easy life over the past few years just hacking and pottering about in the school at home. Although older he has never had a day lame with us and is a robust type with many years left to give more children lots of fun. Dotty has been a perfect pony for both my daughters, but is completely outgrown, and the time has come to make the very sad decision to let him go to a new home. Dotty is no trouble with the farrier, to clip, travel etc. Like many ponies he needs restricted grazing and exercise as can put on weight easily, but has never had laminitis. The videos on the ad - one is of my older, more confident daughter (a few years back), the other with my younger, more nervous daughter at pony club popping round a small course.
