Rising five years old and standing at 15.1hh, this beautifully put-together grey gelding has all the qualities to make a perfect novice horse, a reliable mother–daughter share, or a safe and versatile riding school addition. Finn is a pleasure to have in every way. He has three straight, balanced, and expressive paces, and is well schooled both on the flat and over fences. He has a great, honest jump and always tries his best—he’s the type of horse who wants to please his rider every time. Finn has been hunted by a 14-year-old girl and took everything in his stride, proving himself to be brave, sensible, and mannerly in company. True to his Connemara breeding, Finn has a wonderful temperament—he is friendly, kind, and easygoing both in and out of the stable. He is quiet to ride, easy to shoe, box, catch, and handle in traffic, and he is completely unbothered by farm machinery or busy environments. He is a genuine, steady sort who gives confidence to his rider, whatever the job. Finn is well bred; his sire is Lough Melvin Gorteen and his dam is by Abbeyfort out of Aran Flight. He has no stable vices and recently passed a clean 5-stage vetting. He is open to any re-vetting for peace of mind.
