- Welsh C X Hackey (mum was a Hackey Show Pony). Lenny is a clever, handsome 12hh Gelding with a big personality looking for his next bold little person looking for lots of fun. He loves to jump, loves XC hacking (never spooks, good with traffic), will turn his hand to dressage. He's been to pony camp, busy stay away shows. We have had him for 5 years. Lenny has a great jump, he is bold and confident, he will go as fast as he is asked to whether that means trotting round following someone bottom hole, or super speedy whizzy jump off turns at 70cm, he will do as he is asked in a snaffle. He travels and loads well. Barefoot and well behaved for the farrier. More recently Lenny has been loaned by a 7 year old and a 9 year old, he did some SJ, Dressage and lead rein showing with the 7 year old. * Lenny is a great little show pony, in hand or ridden, the judges love him. *First Ridden Reserve Champion at Sunshine Tour 2023. *NSEA Pop up Winter Dressage series 2nd Place 23-24. *Many placings up to 70cm in Grassroots NSEA. *Competed at Hickstead many times, and stayed over there, it's a busy venue, he took it in his stride. *British Showjumping for schools and won his classes. *Clear rounds at Pony Club Area qualifiers at Hickstead Realistically Lenny was outgrown a few years ago, but despite the upgraded model arriving my daughter hasn't been able to part with him. He is a Welshy, sometimes he forgets he isn't in charge and we don't all work for him. He needs a confident child purely to keep him in check, experienced parent would also be beneficial. He loves to work, he likes a job. He prefers to have a friend in the field with him, or next to him. Currently have him stabled at night but he would happily live out, he loves to be muddy! Good home is important for us, my daughter loves this pony with all of her heart and wants him to find his next little human to go on adventures with.
