Description: Betty is a great fun horse, who enjoys hacking and being out and about. She is an easy going but forward making her an enjoyable ride and has been a favourite as an Escort Horse for our hacks. With us Betty has done a bit of everything including our in house dressage competitions, hacking in the Windsor Great Park, jumping lessons and training to be a Ceremonial Military horse. We have had Betty for over a year, having acquired her from a riding school. While she has settled in well, she requires more turnout than we can provide. She thrives in a small herd where she can form strong bonds, and we have found that limited turnout affects her confidence in herd settings, particularly in close proximity to others during training. Betty is now seeking a one-on-one home with ample turnout and a competent, experienced person who can build a strong bond with her. While she’s unlikely to become a dressage superstar, she moves well and enjoys variety in a work load, she will be a rewarding, fun partner for someone. Not for a novice.
