Description: Knightsbridge Lily known as Candy is a 15.1 6yr old grey Connemara mare who has been my fun ‘pocket rocket’ horse the last year and a half. Candy is a fun loving horse that enjoys getting out and about and going for group hacks, to arena hire, cross country schooling and sj training rounds. Candy is confidently jumping round show jumping courses of 70/80cm with scope to go on, we have just been taking our time getting the foundations right and giving her opportunity to get strong and confident in herself. Candy often goes out cross country schooling and as above keeping it all achievable so she can thrive in the future. She loves a water jump, happy to pop over a ditch. She has jumped banks, hedges, owl holes. The BEST thing ever is going hunting! She has done 5 puppy hunts last year. Always impeccably behaved and happy to wait between runs. She does get enthusiastic at times and keen to go but always ridden in a snaffle. Candy has a good basic flatwork up to prelim level, we haven’t done much of this as we would rather be found out hacking and building fitness and having some fun. Candy loves going out in group hacks and often boxes up to new places and will happily lead the hack, but equally go behind. We love a good gallop! Candy travels really well with me, loves going in the trailer. She has been in a 3.5t fine too. She is great to clip. Candy is happy living in or out, but wouldn’t say no to a warm cosy bed in the winter. Candy does need to be shod all round as can feel the stones if barefoot. Candy is up to date on vaccines, worming, dentist and physio. No vices. I absolutely love this little pocket rocket and she will only go to the best of homes that would suit her. I would ideally like to see her go to a competitive pony club child or adult who will have lots of fun with her and further her education. Candy doesn’t want to be sitting in a stable and not going to parties. She believes life is for living, so buckle up and have some fun! Don’t be put off if you’re tall, I’m 5’8! Candy does need to go to someone competent as she is a lot of fun, but that fun can come with some sass! I have plenty more photos and videos and any questions you have I will happily answer honestly as I want to see her find her right home. Only for sale due to pending knee surgery and relocation.
