Garibaldi's Story
Garibaldi (or just Gary to his friends!) is a sweet-natured gelding looking for a new home as a non-ridden companion.
He is a good boy to catch, lead and groom. He is also good for the vet but he will need a calm and patient farrier.
His ideal home would be where he has equine companionship at all times as he does become stressed on his own. He gets on well with other horses and has been turned out with mares and geldings. His favourite thing to do is eat, but he does also pull some excellent 'scratchy' faces if you find the right spot!
He will need an experienced and competent Guardian, happy to carry out regular and consistent handling, to help him settle into his new environment.
Garibaldi arrived at Redwings in May 2018 from a site in Suffolk, along with seven other ponies. They were all incredibly underweight, with very long feet. At Redwings they were all named after types of biscuits!
