Description: Anton Z known as tonzie is a 10yo zangershiede that I’ve owned for the last 6 years. He truly is an amazing horse with a lot of talent and is for sale through absolutely no fault of his own. Tonzie is incredible to hack alone or in company he will go first or last, great in all types of traffic and not strong or silly in open fields, would be the perfect gentleman out hunting. He has mainly competed in unaffiliated showjumping successfully up to 1.10 but has plenty of scope to go bigger, (recently won chase me Charlie with 16yo teen clearing 1.25) hasn’t been registering BS so he has no points meaning someone can work up the levels with him. He has been XC schooling/ hunter trials and a few ODEs at 80cm but has schooled over 90/1m. Dressage has never been my forte so tonzie knows the basics, leg yield, shoulder in, flying changes, but with the right rider he could definitely excel at this more than he already has! He’s great to catch, shoe (currently has fronts but has been shod behind previously), clip, load happily will stand on the trailer/lorry. Currently turned out with geldings but is a gentle friendly soul that loves everyone. Will live in or out but must have a friend, he’s not the type that can be left on his own but you can take him away on his own with no issues. Tonzie would make a great mother/ daughter share / riding club alrounder as he is a gentleman in every way but will turn up the gears as and when needed, equally go far with a professional, due to his size and breed he would not be suitable for a novice!
