Description: Owned for the past 4 years. Originally bought as a first pony, which he really isn’t, due to a few quirks that he has– such as the occasional spin or running off, particularly with an unbalanced rider in the school. He’s not nasty, just learned to take advantage a little, however, as his rider has gotten to know him and has gained experience these quirks are a rarity, but that said he really does need a confident, experienced rider who can give him clear boundaries and guidance. With the right person, we believe these would not be a problem in the slightest. That said, he’s a super fun, forward-thinking allrounder who loves to be out and about. Great to hack alone or in company (though he’s not a huge fan of cycle bikes), and has been a brilliant companion for younger horses from our yard when out hacking. He is good in all traffic we have tried him in although not experienced busy main roads. He’s not nappy or strong in open spaces, never reared. He’s done Pony Club, arena hires, beach and fun rides, which he thrives off and absolutely loves cross-country – he can throw in the odd excited buck when enjoying himself. He’s happy popping around 60–70cm when showjumping, he does enjoy his job Lovely to handle on the ground, doesn’t bite or kick, and is always polite and easy once he gets to know you- he can be a little wary of new people at first, but is very friendly and sweet once settled. Barefoot, lives in or out, good to load and travel, and used to dogs, farm animals, and a busy yard environment. He respects fencing and is a very good doer, lives on fresh air! Priced to reflect our experience and his quicks. Perfect home more important than price for this much loved pony. Based in Hampshire. DEFINITELY NOT suitable for a novice, lead rein, or first-ridden home. He would suit a confident teen or small adult who wants a fun, forward ride with plenty of potential. Would also be suited to a hacking home as we have found he enjoys being out. Loads of photos and videos available on request. Only for sale as my daughter is moving on to horses. Comes with tack and rugs.
