Description: Owned for the past 4 years. Originally bought as a first pony, which he isn’t due to a few quirks detailed below. Would suit a confident older teen or small adult. Super fun, forward-thinking allrounder who loves to be out and about. Great to hack alone or in company first or last, not nappy or strong in open spaces, never reared, can throw in the odd excitable buck when excited and enjoying himself. He is good in all traffic we have tried him in although not experienced busy main roads as we don’t need to ride on them. He’s been a great companion for younger horses hacking out from our yard. He’s done Pony Club, arena hires, beach and fun rides, which he thrives off and absolutely loves cross-country. He’s happy popping around 60–70cm when showjumping, he does enjoy his job Lovely to handle on the ground, doesn’t bite or kick, and is always polite and easy once he gets to know you- he can be a little wary of new people at first, but is very friendly and sweet once settled. Barefoot, lives in or out, good to load and travel, and used to dogs, farm animals, and a busy yard environment. He respects fencing and is a very good doer, lives on fresh air! Quirks Has been known to have the occasional spin and run off, or shoot forward particularly with an unbalanced rider in the school. He’s not nasty, has just learned to take advantage a little, however as my daughter as gained experience and gotten to know him, this is now a rarity. He does take confidence from his rider and needs someone with experience to give him clear boundaries and guidance. With the right person, we believe this would not be a problem. Priced to reflect our experience and his quicks. Perfect home more important than price for this much loved pony. Would consider LWVTB for the right home. Based in Hampshire. DEFINITELY NOT suitable for a novice, lead rein, or first-ridden home. He is a fun forward ride with plenty of potential. Would also be suited to a hacking home as we have found he enjoys being out. Loads of photos and videos available on request. Only for sale as my daughter is moving on to horses. Comes with tack and rugs.
