Description: Harribo 15.3hh Irish cob gelding, 14 years old (15 this summer) Perfect happy hack Harribo is great on his own & in company, he will pass anything (tractors, farms/animals, road works etc) Great in open spaces alone & in company, will happily canter/gallop then come back & be chilled with a long rein walking until he’s asked to do anything else. Used as a babysitter on the yard to younger/nervous horses. Harribo loves his jumping where he’s happy jumping 60-70 He will do a nice dressage test of into-prelim. Loves x country. I’ve done a bit of everything with him from plodding round the lanes, fun in the fields or on the moors, jumping, dressage, x country, I’ve taken him on fun rides & I’ve been to a few camps with him. Always behaves impeccably when I take him out to clinics, shows etc He’s very safe & sensible however he isn’t a plod, he’s got a bit of go about him when asked but in a very safe way. He can get excited when out at shows etc, he’s more forward but again still very safe feeling. He’s a fun cob who Loves his work, happy to be ridden every day or one day a week. Doesn’t change with time off, you get back on like he’s not had a day off. Perfect to work around in his stable or field (I regularly change rugs while he’s stood loose in the field, muck out round in the stable etc). Great to shoe, with vet, clip, load/travel. Always up to date with shoeing, vacs, physio, saddler , teeth etc He is currently living out, he comes in during the night in winter, would happily winter out. he will happily spend a day in when need be. Good with other horses in the field-very chilled. Reason for sale-Harribo gave me the love back for competing that I had lost, I’m wanting to event & push myself more & I feel it’s too much for harribo to event or do anymore than stated above, that is his limit. He’s very loved & is the Perfect hacking horse, he makes you feel very safe, home very important to me as he’s very special. Before me he was with his last owner from age 4/5 & was used for hacking & showing. He has a made to measure Black Country Wexford saddle & a Black Country dressage saddle-both can go with him. He has had his SI injected (welcome to speak to my vet) if used for hacking/low level stuff (stated above) vet said he possibly won’t need it again.
