He’s been out and done plenty—an absolute sweetheart to have around and a real quality, head-turning and easy ride. With three balanced, flashy and rhythmical paces on the flat, he produces a lovely test and has had some brilliant scores. His paces are lovely, comfortable, and easy to sit to. Johnny is a great hack. He will gladly walk out without being nagged, is great alone and in company, and remains reliable and easy in heavy traffic. He’s a nice pony on the ground—easy to do and manage—a low-maintenance sort. Johnny is fantastic over a fence. Equally talented XC as he is showjumping, with plenty of experience. He has a super technique and is genuine to ride round a track of fences. He’s also hunted. A real all-rounder who’s done plenty, seen enough, and is ready to go out and have lots of fun.
