- Description
- Ronnie is an incredible allrounder. He has been with us for 3 years and can honestly say he has been such a wonderful pony for my daughter. He 100 % looks after his rider and loves having a job.
Ronnie travels well, in company or alone (we travel in a horsebox but the previous owner had a trailer) .
He is happy to stand on the lorry at shows or events. He is easy to look after and is shod in front.
Ronnie is very safe, steady and reliable. If there was such a thing as a bombproof pony, he is it! He is such a genuine chap, known as captain sensible on our yard, he is not spooky and is often used to accompany new ponies or less confident ponies and riders out on hacks.
Ronnie hacks alone or in company, he doesn’t appear bothered by traffic, lorries, tractors, roadsweeping trucks, motorbikes or cyclists he takes everything in his stride, even in bad weather he is solid.
My daughter (13 years old) hacks out with friends in large open fields and I don’t worry. His calm temperament means he is equally happy at home or in the busiest of competition environments. He doesn’t change personality from summer to winter or in a different environment.
Ronnie has competed at dressage as this was my daughters main interest, but as active members of our Pony Club he has also done many PC rallies, showjumped and has been cross country schooling. He has also been to PC Camp where he enjoyed all the disciplines, even pony club mounted games!
Showjumping and cross country - Ronnie loves to jump and is incredibly honest. Ronnie has jumped up to 70cm showjumping and 50/60 at cross country.
Flatwork - Ronnie is really well schooled, talented, has 3 balanced paces and works in an outline. Competing at NSEA, BD and PC competitions, he produces accurate tests.
Ronnie is up to date with vaccinations, physio, teeth, farrier and saddler. Ronnie is good to clip, shoe, teeth, see the vet.
Ronnie is a very good doer and is turned out in the day and stabled at night as this suits him.
Ronnie is very special to us and this is a heartbreaking sale. Only the very best of knowledgeable homes will be considered for him. He is only for sale due to being hopelessly outgrown. He has got lots to give and lots to teach a new rider.
Ronnie comes with all his tack and rugs (all the weights for turnout and stable). All tack and rugs have been carefully looked after and maintained.
Serious enquiries only. Price negotiable for the right home.
