Louis is a striking 16.2hh, 10-year-old bay Warmblood gelding by Carreras VDL, with a wealth of experience and a genuinely kind, easygoing nature. A talented, established horse with great grassroots potential. Louis has competed successfully up to Novice level in eventing and is currently competing at unaffiliated 100 level. He has recently stepped down a level to allow a teenager to build confidence and gain valuable competition experience. One of Louis’s greatest qualities is his calm, non-spooky attitude. He is straightforward, genuine and incredibly adaptable, making him suitable for a wide range of riders. He would be an ideal partner for someone looking for a safe, capable horse to enjoy and progress with, while also having the quality and experience to appeal to a professional or competitive home. Louis is forgiving, willing and always aims to please. He particularly loves his jumping and has plenty of ability and scope. He can be a little more forward to a fence, so we feel he would be best suited to a confident, competent rider who enjoys jumping.
