Description: 16.3hh | 5yo Gelding By Vivant Van De Heffinck out of a direct Cruising mare. Recently imported from Ireland, having been with a private owner since a three-year-old. Passed a five-stage vetting prior to import. He has hunted a full season with the Sligo, jumping proper Irish country — hedges, ditches and the sort of questions you simply don’t see in England. Since arriving, he has also hunted in England with myself (8 stone female) in a snaffle, proving mannerly and great fun! He is happy to go at the front or the back of the field, stands when asked, walks quietly and will happily turn away to give others a lead. On the flat he is polite in the bridle, responsive through his transitions and eager to learn. He has attended training shows where he behaved impeccably. He does just enough, is very much “kick and go,” is unfazed by fillers or spooky water trays. A genuine, straightforward young horse with a super brain and all the right foundations to produce further in any sphere. Based in Retford, Nottingham.
