Description: Laurel is a beautiful 16h 7 year old TB mare who is hacked out regularly by her 61 yo owner. No vices, blemishes, sarcoids or injuries. She is amazingly calm in the heaviest of traffic, with farm machinery, dogs and anything else which would phase lesser horses not bothering her at all. She is more like an ID than a TB, or a TB with a cob brain, she has a lovely snaffle mouth and is never strong. She schools nicely in the arena, never getting hot and silly and I have taken her out to arena hires and grid work sessions and had tons of fun jumping metre plus oxers with ease (not bad for a pensioner, me that is!!) Laurel is incredibly calm & easy to clip, catch, shoe, box, in traffic and everything else. She has no vices, and will stand in her stable on her own quite calmly. She turns out in a mixed herd or on her own and loves to be fussed over and pampered or she is content to be left alone. Laurel is very well bred, being by Lauro whose grandsire is Shirley Heights; lovely breeding. Having point to pointed and hunted in her previous life, Laurel will jump anything, having a bold and scopey jump over coloured and cross country fences and she is ROR registered. She is fabulous on fun rides, never getting hot or silly and she is the same out hunting where she jumps anything but also stands quietly when she should. I really cannot fault this gorgeous mare and she just needs a 5* home where she will be part of the family and loved. Vaccinations, teeth & farrier (fulle set) up to date, can deliver at cost within a reasonable distance.
