Based in the Cotswolds
Mavis is the sweetest little mare with a wonderful temperament – never marish and always keen to please.
She has taken my daughter from her first Pony Club camp at just 2 years old through to showing and fun activities.
💫 About Mavis:
• Forward-going and loves her work, but safe and sensible.
• Ideal as a first lead rein pony, yet has the gears to step up when her rider is ready for more.
• Been shown, hacked, and attended Pony Club.
• Good to shoe, clip, vaccinate, load, catch (although in summer a pocket of pony nuts helps!).
• Happy to be pampered for hours, but equally can be left for weeks and brought back in without fuss.
💖 Quirks:
• Can be a little head shy around new adults (especially near her ears), but absolutely fine with children and once she knows you.
• when I purchased her I was told she wasn’t very good in traffic. We don’t have any traffic so never experienced as we just have very quiet lanes - Seen farm machinery etc.
Mavis is a truly special pony who has given my daughter so many firsts.
She would thrive in a loving family home where she can continue to be someone’s best friend.
Unfortunately she’s wasted with us now. Has spent most the year in the field as we just don’t have the time.
Due to confidence and keenness we are going to stick to odd riding school lessons for a bit without own pony.
📍 Viewings welcome in the Cotswolds.
