- Description
- Elis is a very handsome chap, has a lovely temperament and is v easy to do in all ways on the ground (clip/shoe/load/dentist/jabs/catch etc).
He loves to be ridden and he is very used to riding out in company but less confident hacking alone. He’s speedy and fun so is not suitable for a nervous or novice rider.
We bought him in January for our 10&12 year old daughters to share, they enjoy riding him but I feel he is too strong for them. He would be much better suited to a confident adult as he’s better with an adults’ weight in the saddle. He is very responsive to voice and takes his confidence from his rider.
He has done lots of hacking in fields and roads and is used to all kinds of rural traffic, bicycles etc. which he frequently encounters. He’s done a little bit of XC with us and some local shows but he performs better with someone who is firm with him. He has a lovely jump and with his previous owners, he jumped 1m+ but due to my daughters being fairly novice he hasn’t done more than 70cm with them.
Home is very important to us. He’s a cracking horse for the right rider and will love you with such loyalty if you give him the same in return.
He passed a vetting when we bought him, please note that he has sarcoids on his sheath, which don’t affect him in any way and he still passed the vetting but I wanted to be transparent about that.
No dealers please.
