Description: LR / FR Hunting and Pony Club Pony / Allrounder 11hh, 12 year old light palomino/grey Welsh Section A type mare. Extremely sad sale due to the next pony now waiting which older brother has outgrown. We have owned Rosie for 3 years, we got her when my son was 3 and she has taught him to ride and is a complete superstar. She loves hunting and is a regular with the DSSH and TSH. My son has happily hunted her off the lead since he was 5 and they stay out all day. She stands at the meet, is good with hounds and is generally well behaved over any country including open moorlands, ditches, rivers, steps ect. She is steady enough for a little one to manage but fast enough to keep up with the big horses. She will also lead from another horse easily. Rosie is a great allrounder and has done lots of hacking with us, she is very safe, isn’t spooky and is brilliant with any traffic including lorries, tractors and quad bikes. She will hack up the main road without batting an eyelid at anything. She has also done beach rides and fun rides and is always reliable. Rosie has done all Pony Club activities including rallies, mini camp, qualified and competed at Bicton Mini Showjumping Championships, xc schooling/mini hunter trials and mounted games. She has done all the local shows winning too many rosettes to mention, including many a fancy dress class! Rosie is quiet to do at home and can be done easily by children. Good to shoe (has front shoes only) clip, loads and travels well and turns out with anyone. Up to date with vaccinations and teeth. She is clean in the stable and is always still clean in the morning after bathing her the night before an outing!
