Description: Lucky is a beautiful 6-year-old dun gelding, approximately 14.2–14.3hh, a British Sports Pony × Warmblood type, now looking for a new home through no fault of his own. He is simply too small for me, so this is a very difficult sale. Lucky is a talented all-rounder with a real love for jumping. He has successfully competed in both show jumping and dressage, consistently achieving top placings, including several 1st places. He has jumped up to 80cm in competition with me, but he is confidently capable of going higher with the right rider. He is brave, careful, and genuinely enjoys his work. He hacks happily anywhere – roads, beaches, open fields, woods – and takes everything in his stride. He is not spooky or silly and is happy to travel wherever you take him. Lucky has excellent manners. He is easy to catch, groom, tack up, clip, load, and travel. He is good for the farrier and has always remained barefoot. Under saddle he has no nasty habits and is never bucking, rearing, or napping. He is not suitable for a novice rider, as he can be forward-going and strong at times, but he is never malicious. In experienced hands, he has all the ability to be a very successful competition pony. Health-wise, Lucky has an excellent history. He has never suffered from colic, has never had an injury, and has never had any health problems. The only vice to mention is that he cribs/windsucks. This has never affected his health or performance. This is a genuinely heartbreaking sale, and finding the right home is far more important than a quick sale.
