MOLLY – 13YO SHIRE X ID MARE A genuine, kind and sensible mare looking for a home where she can enjoy doing what she loves most – hacking, exploring and having fun! Molly was bought from Ireland and has shown us that, while she is perfectly capable in the school, she is at her absolute happiest when she’s out and about. She has three steady, comfortable paces and a fantastic big, ground-covering trot. She takes the leg really well and gives you a lovely secure feeling without being sharp or silly. Hacking Molly is sensible out hacking and is happy in open spaces. She enjoys getting out, will happily have a canter and has popped small XC fences. She would make a fantastic happy hacker or a lovely steady hunter-type for someone wanting to get out and enjoy themselves. Ridden work She has been ridden by novices upwards and is straightforward and genuine. She works nicely in the school and has the potential to enjoy some low-level dressage, jumping and fun rides, but hacking is definitely where she is happiest. On the ground Molly is an incredibly loving horse. She isn’t mare-ish, absolutely loves attention and being groomed, and really thrives when she has a person to fuss over her. She is the sort who really appreciates a loving, one-to-one environment.
