π A very sad sale of our much-loved Annie π
This is an extremely difficult decision for us. Due to my daughter now concentrating on her exams, she is sadly unable to give Annie the time and attention she deserves.
We are therefore looking for a loving, knowledgeable and committed home where Annie can continue her education and reach her full potential. This is not a decision we have taken lightly, and finding the right home is extremely important to us. Please only enquire if you are genuinely able to offer Annie the time, experience and commitment she deserves.
We have owned Annie for the past three years. She had only recently been broken when we bought her, and we have enjoyed developing her together.
During this time Annie has: β’ Attended regular Pony Club rallies
β’ Attended Pony Club camp each year
β’ Taken part in local stay-away events
β’ Competed at numerous unaffiliated showjumping events
β’ Been exposed to a variety of different environments and experiences
π Ridden & Jumping
Annie is currently jumping 60/70/80cm and is good with fillers and different types of fences.
She is a strong character with plenty of personality and needs a strong, confident and capable rider. She looks for confidence from her rider and does best with someone who is calm, consistent and knows how to ride her.
Annie can get strong, particularly when she is excited, so she is not a novice ride and we feel she would be best suited to an experienced teenager or adult who can continue to develop her.
She has lots of potential for someone looking for a pony to continue progressing with.
π΄ Management
Annie is currently turned out 24/7 with company. We have not kept her turned out alone, so we cannot say how she would be on her own.
She is equally happy being stabled.
She is currently shod in front.
She is up to date with her vaccinations, dental care and worming.
Last summer Annie was treated for mild gastric ulcers. Since then she has been managed carefully with additional chaff before riding and travelling, together with Gasti Vet pellets. With this management in place, she has shown no signs of discomfort and has continued happily with her work.
π Travelling
Annie travels well both on her own and with company, and has travelled in both an 3.5tonne van and a trailer.
She has plenty of experience travelling to rallies, camps, competitions and stay-away events.
π The Home
This is a genuinely heartbreaking sale of a very much-loved pony. Annie has been a huge part of our daughter's life over the past three years and we want to find her the right person to continue her journey with.
She will need a confident, experienced rider who understands that she can be strong and who will continue to give her clear, consistent riding and boundaries.
We are looking for a 5βοΈ knowledgeable home, and the right home is far more important to us than a quick sale.
