Description: Honest Advert: This is a heartbreaking sale but in the best interest of this best boy’s future! I have had him for 4 years and in that time he has done BSJA, a few dressage tests, sponsored rides, a one day event, hacking, pub rides, hickstead etc. He is very low mileage for his age due to me not being very competitive and not having my own transport and honestly just not having enough funds to have proven him on paper. He is very blood and has a huge competitive spirit and when in the right hands excels in his job. I truly believe he will mainly excel in the showjumping phase as this is what he loves most! Flatwork/ dressage is not much interest to him and this is when his little quirks pop out (will discuss further if interested). So will not suit someone who wants/ enjoys doing lots of flatwork training/ competing. He is super bold coming down to any fence and loves a bit of cross country and does give you a great feel! He was jumping round Discovery & Newcomers BS (Nov - Jan 2025) with mainly double clears but on a ticket as again due to my personal circumstances he had a very chilled 2024 summer and we have been bringing him back in to competing slowly. Being a Crusing bred horse does mean he can be a sharp ride and definitely a horse that you need to get used to. Would suit a tall rider with long legs who wants to have something to produce up the levels and is able to keep him in a professional atmosphere. He’s a lovely hack in company but definitely not a horse you can hack on his own. His competition spirit does mean that he needs the correct amount of work 5/6 days a week as this is when he’s the most happiest and enjoyable :) His record is not by any means impressive at the moment and this is no fault of his own, and this is reflected in his price. However, he has just been re registered with BSJA (Feb 2025) so that he keeps gaining experience. He is currently jumping Newcomers and Foxhunters and has even been in the money a couple of times and is certainly showing what he is truly capable of. I just want to find someone who will love him for his quirks like I have, but has more experience with horses of his breeding and ability who can really give him what he deserves. Beyond perfect to clip, load, shoe, catch, bath, tack up and deal with at a show etc. Please pm (whatsapp preferably) or call for more information and I will happily discuss any query’s and questions.
