Description: Lion (The Lion Strikes) is one of the most hard-working, talented and easy to get on with horse we've ever had! This year has been his first season eventing, and he's been double clear more often than not, and rarely out of the placings! *12th in his first BE80 at Oxstalls, with a DC! *3rd in the BRC Area Qualifier at Howick! *9th in the BRC Championships at Swalcliffe! *10th in his first 90 at Pontispool, with a DC! *4th in the Young Horse National Championship at Dauntsey with a DC (no time)! *9th in his first BE90 at Swalcliffe, with a DC (no time)! He also went to Aintree for the ROR national championships and was a little angel, with just a couple of poles. We absolutely wish we could keep this little legend, at least for another season, but he's ready to go, and we have other horses who need our attention! If we were to keep him, the plan would be to train at 100 (possibly even 1.10) over winter, with a lot of dressage training also, then jump a couple of 90s at the start of the season (qualify for Badminton grassroots) and move up to 100. He would definitely also pure SJ, and we've just registered him BS! He's an absolute joy to have about, easy enough for a less confident/ less able rider to ride and handle, but is also keen to compete! Good to shoe, box, clip etc. Genuinely a horse people have been keeping their eye on! Lots of videos on our fb page Hesteyri Horses, and on YouTube under the same name. Small offers may be considered on his price, but please don't try to convince us he's not worth it, we think an awful lot of this young horse! £20,000 as he is £20,100 with bridle and rugs £20,500 with bridle, rugs, and 2 weeks schooling livery with unlimited lessons.
