Description: GOOSE is a super smart 2021 Connemara gelding, standing at 15.1hh with full green book recorded breeding. He’s a classy, correct, and flashy type, yet offers an easy-going, laid-back ride that makes him a real pleasure to sit on. On the flat, Goose has three rhythmical paces, works in a lovely natural frame, and has a soft, light snaffle mouth. He’s produced some dressage tests already and would certainly excel further in dressage or showing, with his balance, comfort, and quality of movement. His transitions are well established, and he feels secure and nicely put together for his age. Goose genuinely enjoys his jumping. He has been jumped up to 100cm and is honest, straightforward, and helpful to a fence. He’s equally confident over rustic and coloured fences, will go off any stride, and doesn’t hold it against you if you get it wrong — a very forgiving and genuine jumper. He has been out and about doing riding club activities, clinics, dressage outings, and fun rides, taking everything in his stride with a sensible and willing attitude. Hacking is another strong point. Goose is excellent in open spaces and traffic of all kinds, and he hacks happily alone or in company, making him a very versatile allrounder. To handle, he’s a real sweetheart — cuddly, affectionate, and a joy to have around the yard. A smart, correct Connemara with a brilliant temperament and plenty to offer.
