Description
Henry is rising 6. He has proven to be an unflappable lead rein pony. My novice 8 year old has got him off the lead and started on his FR schooling, he is unbelievable off the lead to hack, canters steadily behind another horse, you can lead him off a bigger one. However, he doesn’t love school work off the lead (but will Follow in a group Lesson perfectly) this area needs more work to make him a true FR and to build his confidence without a leader. I think his heart is with a human leader on the ground. He would suit a small child learning, who could ride alongside Mums horse. He will follow to the end of the earth and safely take care of a small person. If you are looking for a pony to show and do endless school work this isn’t the right pony for you, he finds it boring, he will go but is hard on the legs for small people, bigger kids no problem. Home more important than price. He’s good to do in all areas. He does need front shoes on to cope with the different ground. Please contact me for more info. We would love to keep him forever but financially it’s not doable and my son has stepped up to the next pony. Up to date with Vac/teeth/saddle/back. Sold with saddle.
