Description: Prince Harley – Small 15hh Welsh D, 15yrs This is a very hard decision, so no time wasters please. We’ve had Harley for 7 years and he’s truly a pony of a lifetime. He’s looking for a competitive rider and would make an ideal second pony. He has taught my daughter everything, taking her from jumping 60cm to 1m with confidence. He knows his job, looks after his rider, and is a real schoolmaster. Harley has done all Pony Club activities, been to Pony Club camps, and attended stay-away shows — he’s a dream to take out. He has competed for the last four seasons in BSPS WHP, consistently in the ribbons. He also has BSJA points and has attended the JCB National Pony Club Championships for the last three years, previously qualifying for the Regional Championships in showjumping. He loves cross-country, though we haven’t evented him, and he also hunts — currently hunting with the Vale of Lune Harriers. He can be excitable while waiting at the start but is not dangerous. Harley is perfect to clip, bath, for the farrier, vet, teeth, and loading. He’s happy living in or out, alone or in company, though he can be wary of men. He prefers to hack in company where it’s busy but will go alone in open spaces and on quiet roads safely. Currently in Oxenholme Pony Club and Lakes Riding Club, Harley has represented both at Nationals and Regional Championships. He can be seen at Nationals this week and will be competing at Westmorland. Thousands of pictures and videos available.
