Description: Eclipse is a stunning Lusitano x pony with fabulous bloodlines and a Labrador temperament. She has been professionally produced but needs bringing back into work following her owner’s non riding related injury. Being Lusitano she is ‘spicy’ and not for a novice but doesn’t have any vices. She just needs a rider who gets on and rides and a regular work routine. She’s a real people pony and loves being groomed, pampered, handled. Good to clip, catch, farrier, traffic etc.., She’s done a bit of everything: arena hires, cross country, schooling clinics, hacking alone and in company but has lacked consistency due to her owner’s circumstances. Please only enquire if you can meet the following criteria: - daily turn out with a stable at night in the winter - a rider who inspires their mount with confidence and is kind and consistent - other horses for company and as hacking companions - ideally a home who understands the Lusitano temperament (loving, sensitive and clever) - someone who is willing to put some work in to achieving the ponies potential Long term loan (1-2 years) or loan with view to buy. She’s a special pony so I need to know her and her rider are a good fit before selling.
