Description
Missy has been in the same home since birth and has been backed and brought on by myself. She is a beautiful, correct mare with a lovely temperament and all the potential to develop into a fantastic Pony Club or Riding Club all-rounder. She has been lightly backed and has low mileage, having been ridden away nicely before being turned away for a break to allow her time to mature. She has been out of work since late August/September and is priced accordingly, offering someone the opportunity to bring her back into work and continue her education. Before her break, Missy was walking, trotting and cantering on both reins, hacking out alone or in company, long reining, lunging, popping a small cross pole and loading and travelling well. Missy is still green and can occasionally display the cheekiness typical of a young pony, so she is not currently being advertised as a novice child's pony. She would suit a small adult or experienced teenager looking for a rewarding project to produce, or a knowledgeable home happy to continue her education at her own pace. With the right guidance, time and consistency, she has the potential to become a lovely, versatile pony for the future. She is easy to manage in a group and has a lovely temperament to handle. She is up to date with the farrier, vaccinations and worming. Missy is a genuine opportunity for someone looking for a quality young pony to develop and enjoy. She can be viewed and tried on-site so prospective buyers can assess her current stage, and videos of her previous work under saddle are available on request. Serious enquiries are very welcome. Price can be discussed. Please get in touch for further information, videos or to arrange a viewing.
