Description: 14.2hh Connemara x ISH mare A wonderful, kind natured mare who has done a bit of everything. Inc beach holiday, clinics, SJ, XC, Dressage, working equitation and loads of hacking. Super laid back and easy for anyone to handle but also has lots of talent to do any job. Currently ridden (hacking, jumping, schooling by my 10 year old nephew, as well as myself) I also let my novice friends come out hacking with us on her! Vienna came over from Ireland in October last year and has been carefully and correctly produced with her age and future in mind. However unlike most young ponies, she has been in a family home doing all rounder family activities, pub rides, novices on her, children on her, round the world, beach holiday, dogs/children/cats running around etc. Vienna has had a very well rounded education so far including; plenty of hacking, alone, in company, through fields, traffic etc. She’s been out to lots of arena hires, clinics, on a beach riding holiday and some shows. She is snaffle mouthed at all times and has been extremely level headed and calm with everything asked of her. On the ground and day to day, Vienna is a pleasure to have around. She’s easy and uncomplicated! Regularly handled by smaller children, novices and grandma. She turns out well with any of the other horses on the yard, geldings/mares or on her own. Good to catch and a lovely friendly, easy going type. She’s been completely unbothered if she’s had to stay in for several days during winter or not ridden for a week and then taken out. Flatwork- Vienna has beautiful natural paces and is working extremely well for her age and the stage she’s at in her education. She’s been out to dressage shows, scoring really well, with great comments from the judges. Jumping- Although Vienna only started jumping this summer, she’s showing huge talent, scope and ability. She’s been unphased by fillers, water trays, ditches, banks, hedges, water etc. Jumping is clearly something she really enjoys and she shows huge promise for the future to go up the heights or will happily pop round a 50cm class steadily. She’s careful, clever and has natural talent and ability. I could see her on the BS circuit, as a top class riding club or pony club horse or just a genuine family allrounder. Hacking- Vienna has done lots of this, both alone and in company, she’s ridden through big traffic in our town centre, as well as the country lanes with pushchairs, bikes, tractors, buses etc We’ve also hacked through fields. She’s happy to canter, front, middle or at the back without becoming strong or silly or she will happily walk when asked. Vienna is not only a wonderful person but she’s also very talented and versatile, therefore she’d suited many homes. Riding club, pony club, BS, BD, allrounder home etc Although Vienna has been hacked and jumped by my 10 year old nephew and has not put a foot wrong; Due to her age and where she should be aimed I’d like her to go to an experienced home to continue her education. She has the talent and temperament to go so far and deserves to be in a capable home who wishes to do so. She’s currently barefoot with good feet and is well behaved for the farrier. She was clipped in the winter, is up to date with vaccinations, teeth, worming etc Loads and travels well, been on trailer, lorry and 3.5t Genuine reason for sale and I’d very much like to keep in touch.
